The Collier "Complete Works" is sometimes known as "The Memorial Edition" of
the prose and poetry of James Whitcomb Riley. It was published in New York
in 1916 in Ten Volumes shortly after the "The Hoosier Poet's " death. The
publisher was Harper and Brothers. Included were poems and prose sketches,
"many of which have not heretofore been published; an authentic Biography, an
elaborate Index and numerous Illustration in color from Paintings by Howard
Chandler Christy and Ethel Franklin Betts."
